It is hard to imagine a more suitable place to host a great exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci than the Orsini Fortress in Pitigliano.
The Orsini Fortress dates to 1465, during Leonardo’s lifetime (Leonardo Da Vinci was born in 1452) and is a splendid example of Renaissance military architecture.
For the first time together in an exhibition, two of the greatest geniuses of the Renaissance: Leonardo da Vinci and Antonio da Sangallo the Younger. Protagonists of an unforgettable era, Leonardo and Antonio dedicated their lives to Genius and Beauty, creating extraordinary works admired worldwide.
