It is hard to imagine a more suitable place to host a great exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci than the Orsini Fortress in Pitigliano.
The Orsini Fortress dates to 1465, during Leonardo’s lifetime (Leonardo Da Vinci was born in 1452) and is a splendid example of Renaissance military architecture.
The exhibition
A unique and complete exhibition of the Genius of Leonardo da Vinci including over fifty models, faithfully reproduced from the Co- dexes, according to the research and work carried out by the Niccolai family, artisan experts in ancient mechanics in Florence.
